Most people have problems with belly weight gain.  For people who are looking to gain some belly weight, they have problems because their attempts often end in gaining fat in the belly and not muscle.  Although not everyone can achieve a six pack abs, it is very possible to have an attractive, flat, firm middle over time by eating healthy and doing the right exercises.

a.Eat a well balanced diet

You should eat a very well balanced diet to have a healthy belly weight gain.  Your diet should include vegetables, fruits, low-fat dairy products, whole grains, lean meat, essential fats and beans.  Eating this diet will shape up the belly and ensure that there are no fat deposits.  You should also stay away from refined sugar foods, processed carbohydrates and alcoholic beverages.

b.Eat small food portions

Take small food portions but frequently.  This is an effective way to ease the pressure on your stomach and ensure maximization of eaten food.  This will shrink your stomach and set a base for a healthy flat belly weight gain.

c. Late night snacks:  Avoid them

For a healthy belly weight gain, stay away from late night snacks and eat dinner early.  It is also not advisable to eat too much before going to bed because late night snacks will not be burned off before you sleep.  Instead, it will be taken as extra calories and deposited in your stomach.  If you feel like drinking something before bed, take herbal tea with non-fat or low-fat milk.
