Most fizzy drinks nowadays are laced with artificial sweeteners which carry with them a lot of calories. It is therefore advisable for people who want to lose weight to watch what they drink. Drinks such as juices and sodas are not healthy. People should embark on more healthy drinks like low fat milk, water and other drinks that are sugar free.

Emotional eating

Many people tend to turn to foods when they are stressed, lonely or bored. This results into over eating which leads to weight gain. People should instead take a walk or go to the gym whenever they feel emotionally disturbed. This will keep them from unhealthy eating.

Snacks

It is highly recommended to eat small healthy snacks often over the day. This helps people cut down on bad eating habits and they will not feel deprived. This will help them in cutting down on calories.
