Female section in society is always concerned about the look and appearance. The craze of getting the extra-slim body is over. Females want neither too heavy nor too skinny body but an average healthy body these days. Males generally have a strong build up and crave for exercise from childhood. For them the weight gain process is easier and less painful. Let’s take a closer look on the difference in diet and exercises.

Diet Chart: Females should leave the notion of “no calories” diet and take the diet full of calories and protein, carbohydrate and good fat. Skipping meals should be a big no. Since females have low food intake capacity than males and that’s the reason they are unable to gain weight. They must take four to five small nutritious servings than three big meals. Males can take three big meals and three small servings. The time difference between meals should be three hours to help digestion process in body. The protein rich diet including fish, pulses, seeds, meat, egg white etc carbohydrate rich diet including whole wheat grain bread, pasta,  brown rice etc, good fats including almond oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, safflower oil etc will help in gaining weight. The milk, considered as complete food, will be good for health and the aim to gain the weight.

Exercise:  Apart from diet, for the desire of muscular body in appearance, the weight lifting exercise could be a good option for females. Generally, females are not accustomed to heavy exercises from their childhood. Females must do it in the supervision of an instructor as there could be chances of sprain or nerve strain. While males are used to exercise, running etc, for them exercise won’t be very painful and a new task. Weight lifting will help in gaining muscles in the body posture and thus, give a healthy appearance which is needed.
