Menopause hormonal changes are usually responsible for causing hot flashes in most women. These hot flashes can range mild to very hot and can also be affected by lifestyles or medication.  If a person can identify what causes hot flashes, then they would be better placed than that other person who does not know its causes.

When it comes to lifestyles, food is a major cause that causes hot flashes weight gain. Always keep a record of what you are eating. There are also other factors that cause weight gain such as menopause which is usually accompanied by hot flashes. This usually affects women as they go through hormonal changes, however weight gain can be contained. This is why it is important to know the types of food that can trigger hot flashes weight gain.

Certain foods such s white bread, ice cream, fried foods, pastas and other starchy foods can cause hot flashes leading to weight gain. These foods when processed in the body form calories which in turn are stored as fat thus causing weight gain. Foods high in fat and sugar should generally be avoided because as people progress in age the bodies are unable to convert these stored fats into usable energy. Daily hot flashes can cause stress for most women and can also lead to sleepless nights. Many women also become highly irritable and get quickly exhausted because all their energies have been drained by the hot flashes. Keep watch of what you eat.
