Snacks like tuna are bodybuilders’ best choice because only 6 oz contains about 150 calories, making it almost all protein.  It is also low on fat and has high energy levels.  Dairy products too come complete in protein and can make both daytime and nighttime snacks.  These include regular milk and chocolate milk and cottage cheese.  They can significantly improve the daily calorie intake and are good supplements to gain weight.

Other common snacks to gain weight are buts, fruits and vegetables and more traditional snack foods like chips, chocolate and pretzels.  The best thing about snacks is that they assist you increase your calorie intake without much effort and strain.  Remember that the best weight gain way is to eat balanced and keep fats intake to the minimum.  Eating snacks right can give you this balance.
